Alfio is an experienced environmental professional with proven leadership and success in managing complex projects and in developing strategies to help Businesses understand and manage their risks. His main competencies are in the areas of asset liability management, environmental due diligence, soil and groundwater contamination, environmental performance and reporting, advocacy and water and effluent discharges risk assessment. He has significant experienced in leading and managing multidisciplinary teams and contractors to achieve business objectives and value creation opportunities. Alfio has a BSc in Geology and a Masters degree in Engineering Geology.
Diogo is a multidisciplinary environmental geologist and project manager with more than 10 years of experience with projects related to environmental impact assessments and brownfield remediation. He has managed or served as a technical consultant on projects involving environmental modelling, site investigation, brownfield remediation, risk assessment, contractor management and environmental data processing and analysis.
Having worked on a wide variety public and private sector projects in Europe, USA, and Brazil his expertise includes conceptual site modelling, remedial options appraisal and environmental monitoring and modelling for landfills, chemical plants and refineries. He has also participated in portfolio environmental risk assessment for various multinational chemical and O&G companies, construction management of multi-million £ projects and EIAs for some of the largest infrastructure projects in South America.
Diogo is Doctor of Philosophy in Tectonics, Petrology and Mineral Resources and he holds a Masters in Geodynamics and a Licentiate’s degree in Geology. He is also a is a Portuguese native and he is fluent in English and Portuguese and is proficient French and Spanish.
